Before We Knew ...

Our latest capsule collection, Before We Knew, draws inspiration from the coming-of-age film Stand by Me, based on Stephen King’s novella The Body (1982). The story’s quiet emotional weight and focus on childhood friendship became the foundation for this collection, not as a direct reference, but as a feeling: the kind you only understand when you look back.

At its core, Before We Knew is rooted in youth, friendship, curiosity, and the subtle transition from innocence into adulthood. It reflects those moments in life that once felt endless, days that stretched without urgency, friendships that felt permanent, and decisions that carried no visible weight at the time.

The collection explores a familiar emotional space: remembering a version of life where everything felt simpler. It is shaped by late nights that seemed to last forever, small towns where time moved slower, long conversations with friends that didn’t need conclusions, and the quiet uncertainty of what comes next.

There is no single narrative, but rather fragments of memory stitched together, the kind that only become meaningful in hindsight. Before We Knew is about that gap between living a moment and understanding its significance later on.
Visually, the collection translates these ideas through playful colors, nostalgic graphics, and everyday silhouettes. Each piece is designed to feel familiar, almost ordinary at first glance, yet layered with subtle emotional cues that reveal themselves over time. The intention is not to over-explain nostalgia, but to let it exist naturally within the garments.
This is a collection about reflection, not on what was lost, but on what was quietly lived through without knowing it mattered yet. Before We Knew sits in that space between memory and meaning, where the past is not distant, but still softly present.
